A broken heart is when something inside you dies. When nothing makes you happy anymore. An emptiness, a piece missing, anger, sadness, deception. The only thing that makes the pain go away is time… but, not a day goes by when you don’t stop and think about it. You never go back to the person you used to be. Nor are you ever that dedicated to anyone again.
A broken heart is when you see that person again, and it breaks you. You can’t help but relive the moment, and remember how much it hurt you, and at the same time, how much you miss him.
A broken heart is when you smile and pretend everything is alright. But, you go to bed, every day, and cry. And, once you are asleep, you dream about it.
A broken heart is when you try to move on—it gets worst when you see that he already has. It makes each and every moment you lived with that person lose its value, meaning, or significance. Time wasted on a person… makes you realize that it was just empty words and the moment. Everyone carries on… not understanding that broken heart… making you feel dramatic.
A broken heart takes years to heal, find meaning, pleasure, and true happiness once again. Two halves of a heart—two souls of a heart, and one breaks away.
